Below is the Job Description for the Ramadhan Publication Sales Rep Position.

SUMMARY
Responsible for selling advertising space and distribution activities in assigned cities. Manage quality and consistency of advertising.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • o send out media packs to potential advertisers before Ramadhan.
  • To maintain a spreadsheet and project the number of contacts to be made.
  •  Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  •  Identify sales prospects and contact these.
  •  Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  •  Explaining the benefits of your medium, using statistics on readership or viewing figures.
  • ·Offering a price and negotiating around it.
  •  Closing the deal and recording the details with a signature on the pro-forma.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect prayer Timetables for different mosques in your City and provide them to Ramadhan Publications Organising distribution of the booklets across assigned city (through mosques, shops, etc) once published

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  •  Negotiation skills, for persuading clients to buy advertising space.
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  •  Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Work requires significant local travel
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • A good telephone manner.
  •  Confidence and an outgoing personality.
  •  The ability to build relationships with customers.
  •  Diplomacy and patience.
  •  The ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  •  Be good with numbers.
  •  Be motivated and have the ability to self-manage.

Schedule of Tasks for 2025

Ramadhan 2025 is expected to commence beginning of March.
You are expected to commit to the following timetable of activities:

Within first three days of RamadhanDistribution of booklets

PAY
Commission based (OTE) to be discussed personally.
